KEHILLAH
MODEL UN

ABOUT:

Kehillah Model United Nations (MUN) is a student-run, faculty-supported club whose mission is to build public speaking and critical thinking skills. Founded in 2023 by Eytan Goldhaber-Fiebert (Class of ‘25) and Eli Sobel (Class of ‘25), Kehillah MUN provides students with the opportunity to step into the shoes of global leaders. Each year, we attend local conferences where students represent different countries and collaborate in committees to debate pressing global issues, from international conflict to global health crises. We also engage in fun activities, such as learning about game theory using jelly beans and conducting a mini debate on whether the voting age should be lowered to 16. By learning and engaging with the major issues facing our world today, we help support the next generation of world leaders.
